Exactly what we have done (replace the getty in /etc/ttys with a modified
version of the DEC example: it calls a shell script which sets up the
environment, asks the user some questions then calls in a 3270 emulator).

Works out a lot cheaper than reverse DECservers.

How much more blah do I need to get past the reply length checks?
