Does anyone know what is the maximum dB loss that is acceptable
between two Ethernet half repeaters over a fiber cable? Does this
depend on the trasmit power of each device? Is this a standard? I
think it might be in one of the supplements to the 802.3 standard, but
I don't have that one. Thanks for your help.
