My current job is doing design and coding for real-time embedded systems and I find it very enjoyable. However, I am finding that with only my BSEE there are times that I could do my job better if I had a more formal CS background. Also, my employer offers a fellowship program which is very attractive. My only problem is trying to decide what school to attend. I'm currently in Boise Idaho and would like to remain here in the northwest. I know that this limits my choices for schools but for my and my family it is the best trade-off. So is there anyone out there that knows of some sort of ranking of universities based on the strength of their CS programs? I would like to study parallel processing and graphics maybe even some OS. Any input would be appreciated. If there is enough interest I will post any pertinent reply's. So cheer on your alma mater.
