We are converting files from a Mac onto a Sun Sparc (in Gif format).
The colors are coming out close but much darker than the original.
Does anyone know how a Gif file stores the color information?  Is
it in RGB format (in other words does it store the exact RGB values)?

Any help would be appreciated.
