 -> ANSI committee expects to finish with their work..in the
 -> eyes of our management, forth will then become "legitimate".

         Hopefully, DPAns will be proposed in 1 Q or 2 Q 1991. Then
 the proposed standard will have to be submitted to the ANS parent
 body. Then will follow a mandatory comment period.

         So I would say that optimistically one could look for 3 Q or
 4 Q 1991 as the date for ANSForth. Pessimistically, take your own
 cynical guess!
