I would like to -> be able to control 2 or 3 of these from a Vesta SBC88A, programming -> in Forth. Any suggestions? We did a dual stepper motor controller project about a year ago for the MICRO88 on a 3"x5" PWB. An article was written for Embedded Systems Programming and the code is in the file STEPPER.ARC here on the RCFB. The stepper board PWB we designed to control 2 stepper motors (20 V, 1.5 A max) by loading the speed and the number of steps into registers on the stepper card - the card does the rest. The design was illustrative of the tradeoffs between hardware and software, cost and performance. The board costs about $50 (depending on options) in quantities of 100. If you have questions, call Jack Woehr or Steven Sarns.
