This is a constraint programming language created by William Leler and described in his book "Constraint Programming Languages - Their Specification and Implementation", Addison-Wesley, 1988. Also, does anyone know if there have been any further developments along the lines of Bertrand or the Purdue Equational Interpreter (on which Bertrand is based)?
