Keywords: uucp queue Message-ID: <1990Dec7.043618.23925@nntp-server.caltech.edu> Date: 7 Dec 90 04:36:18 GMT Sender: news@nntp-server.caltech.edu Reply-To: todd@Quotron.COM (Todd_Booth) Organization: Quotron Systems Inc. Lines: 15 Nntp-Posting-Host: premises1.quotron.com I've pointed (via an MX) janus.quotron.com email to ns.quotron.com which allows the mail to come in fine. However, it gets stuck in the outgoing mail queue and I must wait about 10 minutes and then type sendmail -q to get it out of the queue. Our sendmail demon is started with the -q30m which doesn't seem to work. We're running Sun 4.1 and when I run sendmail -bt it states (Version 4.1). Is that the sendmail version Sun ships? Any ideas why I must mannually run the queue when incoming tcp mail works fine? -- todd (booth) todd@quotron.com 213 302-4368 ..!uunet!quotron.com!todd
