I am a member of a steering committee that is looking for Object Oriented tools. Specifically what I am looking for is a critique of the Atherton technologies Software Backplane and Project Softboard tools. We had a demo the other day and we were impressed, but now I'm looking for some real world experience with the products. Specifically, I want to know how it integrates with the IDE Software Through Pictures (STP) product, OS problems, and compiler integrations. According to the sales staff this product has been used in aerospace for sometime and is just now generating interest in the commercial sector. I just want to get around the hoopala and get some facts.
