I have experienced basically the same problem as the other Peter.
F1 shows no init, etc.
I did not report it because I have seem to have a hardware problem
with my hard drive which crashes the wini.c ocassionally.
This (plus masters studies) have delayed my migration from DOS.
I have not tried all of Earl Chews suggestions yet.
So can not say report on them.

By the way.  I upgraded from the old version (1.2) and do not have 
tty2 defined and so can not use kermit, zmodem, etc.
Attempts with mknod crashed os.  
Any ideas?
