Minix ST 1.1 runs out of the box if you stick to the first four 'normal' partitions on the disk, and don't use the 'extended Supra-style' partitions. SUPPOSEDLY, Minix ST 1.5 will use the higher partitions. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify this, since 1.5 doesn't like my Minix partitions -- they were created with the GNUKernel 1.1. Either I made a mistake recompiling 1.5 or it simply doesn't work. The clock on SCSI unit #6 doesn't hurt -- in fact there is a program that reads it during startup, thus setting always the correct date.
