Not quite what you are looking for, but definitely of interest:

SemiDisk Systems in Beaverton, OR has dedicated RAMdrive cards
*with battery backup* in sizes up to 16 meg. And considering that
they are currently trying to find out how to solve some problems
with a driver for NetWare, I bet they'd *love* to talk to you!
