I guess something like a technical reference manual would be nice, except most of those only cover one machine (linke one for PCs, another for XTs, yet another for ATs, etc) and I want one that covers all of them, or as many as possible. It would also be nice if the book covered the important points concening writing a device driver. If a lot of response comes in on this then I will summarize. Thanks!
