Box 29,Vianen, The Netherlands Lines: 25 Hi Netters, I want to try to build a program that runs on a lanman client, but is still NET USE able from another client. It therefore has to implement some basic server functionality that listens on the net to accept a net use, and data that follows the redirector of the machine that uses this program. I have the impression that this must be possible, but don't know how. Do I have to use the netbios directly? and so which functions? How do I make my tiny server known to the network? Do I need lanman 1.1 or lanman 2.0 ? If you have any help, suggestions and/or examples please respond by E-Mail and I will summarize to the net.
