I want to use the Sparc to spool the Mac printout on a AppleTalk ImageWriter. I used two of the CAP applications, iwpr and isrv. The setup is as follow: isrv publish a fake ImageWriter on the network. This fake ImageWriter is an entry in /etc/printcap with its input filter (if) set as a script wich call iwpr with the AppleTalk adress of the ImageWriter. The problem is it doesn't work: the first few bytes of each printout seems to get lost, that is, the first (blank) lines aren't printed, and there is noise in the first text line; the rest of the printout is OK. Why? Thanks for any help. Patrick Alaerts University of Louvain Internet: alaerts@exco.ucl.ac.be BITNET: ALAERTS AT BUCLLN11 Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
