All the software that HP made available for the 150 is also discontinued. I think Personalized Software still has some 150 hardware and software in their catalog (their phone # is (515)472-6330). I general, some MSDOS software does work directly on the 150, but you may need to copy it onto different media first, since the IBM 3.5" format is slightly different from the HP 150 3.5" format. Graphics, color, use of specific hardware, or BIOS entry will cause it not to work. There is a software emulator that allows programs that use BIOS or ANSI.SYS to work. The editor that I like to use on a 150 is PC-EDIT, a public-domain editor that has key bindings similar to emacs. There are several public-domain versions of kermit for the 150, most of which work reasonably well, but if all you need is terminal emulation, the terminal built-in to the AGIOS is a very good emulation of an HP2623 terminal.
