When I try to compile OSF Motif 1.1, I get the following error:

"../.././lib/Xm/List.h", line 99: compiler error: symbol table full

I am using pcc on an FX/40.  Has anyone else encountered this problem,
and more importantly, does anyone have a workaround?  My workaround in the
short term will probably be to try GNU C, but this is not totally
satisfying.  Thanks to all who reply.
