hello.

many apologies for previous submission -- i'm afraid my hand slipped as i
was posting. blame it on novicehood -- i learned much. in any case, here
is a complete posting; ignore the other.

i've been playing drakkhen for quite some time now, with a some success
up to this point. (for those interested -- great game, fairly good controls,
interesting plot (of sorts), and amazing cross-country better-than-flight-
simulator-could-ever-hope-to-be movement graphics.) i've gotten all but
one of the gem-whatsits that you are apparently supposed to get to solve
the game, and have gained/forced access to all but one of the drakkenlord
strongholds/forts/castles. it's the last gem that's the problem, and, more
specifically, getting into the last castle -- the pyramid, in the demesnes
of fire (desert).

from all the lame hints dropped by those stupid peasants (one of the more
annoying aspects of the game) along the way, i have to do something involving
the blindness spell ("look into the dragon's eyes", "you may lose your sight",
etc. etc. ad nauseam), but what? i've blinded the pyramid, the characters, the
door, the plants, everything i could think of. no dice.

hints? i've been stuck for a while, just sitting around, slaughtering dragons,
getting more and more amazing armor. kind of like to move on. thanks.
