This won't make any performance difference, but it will prevent possible data corruption. The smaller value is correct, the 131072 number was an error in an older version of the software. >a new version of RDPrep. I purchased my HardFrame exactly a year >ago, just to give you a concept of it's age. The new graphical RDPrep is a whole lot smarter than the old software was. It's not just a change to the RDB, though that's part of it. My Hardframe is about two years old, and the software that came with it sounds like what you've got. The new stuff is only about 6 months old. >functions the same way. I suppsoe interleaving could be the problem but >_WHY_? The HardFrame (or any Amiga controller) shouldn't need >interleaving. Interleaving is for puny little MessyDos 4 MHz, 8-bit >machines :-). I've exhuasted all my ideas. The Hardframe DOES work with the Quantum 105 at 1:1 interleave, and the combination is capable of 700KB/sec, it's what I've got running on my A2500. But since your Hardframe software is so much older than mine, some of the number don't compare too well. The first thing I'd do is get the new software from Microbotics. > Please guys, try to help me out here. I don't think any of them are on Usenet, they do have an official support conference on BIX though. -- Blaine Gardner @ Evans & Sutherland 580 Arapeen Drive, SLC, Utah 84108 blgardne@esunix.UUCP BIX: blaine_g {decwrl, utah-cs}!esunix!blgardne PLink: BlaineG DoD #0046 My other motorcycle is a Quadracer.
