I heard from a local dealer the statement that an A3000UX had something "extra" on the motherboard, and that a standard A3000 or an A2500/30 would NOT be able to run Unix. It sounded like a ridiculous enough idea that I didn't really believe it, but you never know; C= marketing HAS been known to make a few "strange" decisions. I'd hate to see a return to the "ready, fire, aim" days! I take it from your article that this rumor is in fact untrue, and that sooner or later current A3000 owners (sadly, I am not one!) (and A2500/30 owners?) will be able to run Amiga UNIX as well?
