The version of Amiga NET on the Fish disks is old and grundgy.  Someone 
submitted it to Fred without my permission, and in an incomplete fashion.

Anyway, you probably want to get a version of the Amiga port of the newer
NOS code for the amiga from Sayshell.UMD.EDU.  Grab it quick; I'm selling
my Amiga to buy a NeXTStation, and most of the Amiga stuff is going too.
