Leaving aside the fact that Macs are also Apples,
the obvious reason for the inclusion of Mac material is that the
Apple II market is (rightly, I believe) perceived as dying out,
so A+ felt they had to do something to stay in business.

SoftTalk is an Apple II-only magazine...
