Lines: 26 Well since I see so many requests for a postscript downloader, and a font downloader, I plan to jump into this capitalistic market place here.. I have most of my postscript downloader/ Mac type-1 font translator done right now, (just the boring clean up stuff), and since I have no more money left for any of these new books Apple keeps on coming out with, how big of a demand, and how much would people be willing to pay for this thing as shareware? I was thinking of $10 or so? Its a simple program, but boring and tedious to put in all the routines for desktop stuff, but I should have it done by mid winter break... Basically it throws up a TextEdit that you can load/save/type text into then download it. The font translator part converts the binary Mac resource type into ASCII postscript and puts it up into the TE so that you can download it like regular PS, or even change it a bit if you want, (ie. the family name to something you'd like.) One problem though, is that I haven't really figured out a good scheme to have IIGS fonts coresponding to the postscript fonts for the laserwriter driver yet, but that will be forthcoming.
