I need one 'big time'. Does it work > properly through the parallel port? > -pete Hi Pete, There's a "dummy-up" switch on the back of the Centronics ThinkJet that turns it into an Epson-compatible. It's one of the 8 DIP switches, number 4 or 5 if my memory serves me. The ThinkJet has two operating modes: PCL (or "HP mode") in the book, and Epson (or "Alternate mode") in the book. The Epson mode works fine, except that the dot spacing is 128dpi. Graphics works fine; it's just 25% (33%?) smaller than you would expect. Now, whether it works with MacPrint is another story!
