I've got a friend who has a CD-ROM disk that he knows was used in a CD-ROM player attached to an Atari 1040ST. My question: is there a standard format for such things? He doesn't have an Atari but has an interest in reading this CD-ROM disk and others of the same series. He would like to get an Intel box reading it, as he can get the type of CD-ROM player used on PCs for very cheaply. We can't ask a dealer, as there isn't one left in the state. (The last one went bankrupt about six months ago; local Atari ST owners tell me that they now must drive to Columbus, which is about four hours away.) So if someone who knows about this could mail me information, on Atari ST CD-ROM disk format, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance. Oh, note: I've set the Followup-To tag to post directly to my mailbox. - R'ykandar. -- R'ykandar Korra'ti | Editor, LOW ORBIT Science and Fiction "I hate you, you timepiece from Hades." - Plucky Duck phoenix@ms.uky.edu | editor@lorbit.UUCP | ukma!lorbit!editor
