I have seen mention on the Atari ST RT on GEnie a product for under $100.00
called "Overscan" that will fill in the borders on most STs in all rezolutions.
It's a hardwire mod. and simple for those with soldering experience.  There
was mention there of a half dozen more mods, kits, and monitors that provide
enhanced video on the ST.  Overscan is a German product I believe.
