Contrary to what I told Jeffrey Templon in email less than an hour before I posted it, I have sent out a "multi-way" vote. It does not follow the explicit letter of the guidelines but I am prepared to argue that it follows the intent of the guidelines and that after the 'reorganization' discussion that came up, it is the only fair way to run the vote. I will most likely get flamed into a fine crisp over this, but, life is short. Please, please vote. How you vote is not my concern. The only way to settle this discussion is to get a large enough vote to show a clear interest. This discussion comes up at least twice a year. It has never come to a vote before. This *should* end it for a while, either way. I will give Eliot Lear a day or 2 to respond before I post the article unless I get a ton of mail from you folks today demanding that I do not wait for Eliot. For those of you who do not know, Eliot is the moderator of news.announce.newgroups. -- The good and the bad thing about drugs | home jan@bagend 404-434-1335 drugs is that they wear off. -Elliston | known_universe!gatech!bagend!jan
