Message-ID: <1990Dec3.214650.19109@cbnewsh.att.com> Date: 3 Dec 90 21:46:50 GMT Distribution: na Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories Lines: 11 I am planning to buy a second 1541-2 type drive for a c64. I have been told by stores about two "compatibles", a Rapid Access FT148, and an FSD-2. The stores say these drives are entirely compatible and at least a bit faster. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about them. Are they really compatible (e. g. will they support fancy disk to disk copies) ? Are they reliable ? Thanks Neal Scribner (nms@homxb.att.com)
