     Actually, the C64 is quite capable of accessing the 1764 (expanded or
not).  There are however other issues to consider.  For instance,
there's a guy out there working on a battery backup for GEORAM with a
clock.  If you'll eventually want that sort of thing, you should probably
get a GEORAM.
