Then, upon devouring the manuals in about two hours (I'm pretty good about that), I realized that when I posted my HP28 programs I used a format that is in no way compatible with the HP48sx special character format, and so I apologize to those who want to use them but are having trouble converting the format! BUT, a solution may be in store! The question is this: WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO TRANSFER HP28 FILES TO THE HP48SX? CAN IT BE DONE THROUGH THE IR PORTS? If I can transfer them to the hp48sx, and then load them onto a computer, I will be more than happy to re-post them. But, I want this information for myself, of course. Secondly, can someone give me some e-mail explaining how one assigns funcitons to keys? That section of the manual seemed quite cryptic to me, especially when I tried to absorb it as quickly as I did (though the second look didn't help much). Finally, is HP the only source (or the best source) for the serial cable? What I mean by that is not, "should I buy directly from HP", but "should I buy an HP cable from Edu-Calc" (or the like)? And, where IS the best place to buy one? Thanks in advance from your help. Please e-mail all responses that don't seem useful to everyone... Michael C.
