Message-ID: <11593.275681df@ecs.umass.edu> Date: 30 Nov 90 15:59:27 GMT Lines: 16 Hi everyone. I just ordered a Gateway 2000 system and was told that the video card is a 1 MB "Diamond Speedstar" SVGA board. I've never heard of them. I was wondering whether anyone has had any experience with this company or video card. How is its performance? I would like to use it at 1024x768 in 256 colors, but I know my ATI VGA Wonder card bogs down terribly at 800x600x256. The Diamond card uses the Tseng Labs ET4000 chipset. Is this a good chip set? If you EMail me replies, I'll summarize, and post, if there is a demand for it. Thanks, all Bryon Daly daly@ecs.umass.edu DISCLAIMER: I tried to speak for my employers, but they told me to shut up!
