I have here this Kaypro XT with Seagate ST-251 and one floppy (360).

Now I'm trying to replace it's ega-monitor and video 7 VEGA -card with
a normal hercules combination - card and monitor. I am not succeeding
in changing the setup to fit the configuration. I cant get the hercules
screen working. When I try to run a setup-program I found on the system
diskette, I get the error msg "checksum failure". What does this mean?

And all I want to do is to move this color monitor to an AT which is used
every day..this xt gets to work only once-twice a week...:-/

Help?
