Now I have a Gateway 33 Mhz 386 with a 200 Mb Maxtor IDE HDD. I'm assuming the drive was low level formatted with the computer in the standard desktop configuration. Since I want to stand the system on end (my desk just isn't big enough!), I plan to do another low level format in that position. Has anyone had any negative experiences with SpinRite II on such drives? Bill
