I am borrowing a NEC 386 laptop for the week with the option
of purchasing it.  Does anyone know how much it would cost
new?  It is a true 386 with a 40 meg hard drive, internal
modem, 1.44 meg 3.5" floppy.  I can't remember the exact name
of the machine offhand, it is at home, but I think that it
was something like Power 386.  Anyhow, I was looking to find
out how much they went for, since I can't find it listed in
a computer magazine.
