For example, the simple UNIX cat command to concatenate a series of files to a destination file. Right now, it seems I have to do a whole series of cuts and pastes opening and closing lots of windows which takes a lot of time. There must be a shortcut method. Also, I would like to utilize the sort, uniq, and UNIX-style column cut and paste command features as well as sed, etc. I am working with a Mac plus and am basically a mac novice. Any ideas appreciated. Bob Cram robertcr@tekgen.bv.tek.com
