The problem relates to the Macintosh using the Mac-Binary Format for Xmodem transfers. The solutions are many: 1. Transfer the files from Cserv using The Mac and Xmodem in Mac-binary mode 2. If the files are on an IBM then use a terminal program on the Mac to transfer the files of the IBM using the Mac-binary format of an Xmodem transfer. 3. Transfer the files to the Mac by diskette using File Exchange and then use two copies of your terminal program under Multi-finder on the printer and modem ports and transfer the files from one terminal program to the other. If you choose option 3, I've had good success doing this at 57600 Baud using Microphone II
