It did have some difficulty with dropping carrier when the DTR line was dropped, but I think that was simply a configuration problem. The modem was only available as a serial port device in the CommToolbox, but it did work. This was accomplished with an INIT that spoofed the serial manager for the card. I am not certain of the implications for simultaneous use of the modem port, but I got the idea that the two could not be used simultaneously.
