Message-ID: <1990Dec4.162311.9529@DMI.USherb.CA> Date: 4 Dec 90 16:23:11 GMT Sender: usenet@DMI.USherb.CA (Pour courrier Usenet) Organization: Universite de Sherbrooke, Quebec Lines: 21 Nntp-Posting-Host: terre.dmi.usherb.ca I have a somewhat bizarre question: Does anyone know if there would be a problem if the internal 40 or 80M hard disk that comes with every IIsi was removed (sold or put in another machine), and the si used with an external hard disk? I am thinking specifically about SCSI termination problems, as I think I read something like "all IIsi's have internal hard disks, so that takes care of termination problems" when the new Macs were announced back in October. The idea would be to use a IIsi with my existing 60M external hard disk until I sell it and add an internal Quantum 105 (or something else that's bigger) when I'm ready, 6 months or a year later. Thank you for your help! -- { Marc Mazuhelli | professeur } { internet: mazu@dmi.USherb.CA | Departement de math-info. } { | Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada }
