Deichman) Distribution: usa Organization: Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego Lines: 16 A friend of mine told me about a "toggle" available for the Mac that would bring up a menu asking if you wanted Multifinder or "normal" Finder when you held the mouse button down during startup. Anybody out there in NetLand have any comments? If so, how does this affect "init/cdev," which allows you to select certain inits and cdevs upon startup in a similar fashion? On a side note: I'm terribly naive when it comes to file transfers -- I can't download any files from um-mts.cc.umich.edu. Anybody able to help a poor dumb sod get around on that system? I can't even change directories past the "PC2" one.... Thanx in advance for any and all assistance. -shane
