I have been trying to post that reponse for days now, but our rn program
has a problem.  (Is there a way to post "manually"?)  Anyway, you left
out where it is (and its not obvious), the directory kermit/sw.  I have
been using 5A for some time now, and it works great.  Also, you didn't
mention that you do a "make next" to compile it, which bolstered my
confidence in that version.
