I am specifically interested in a 200-300 hard drive that is compatible with the NeXT. NeXT says the Quantam drives are what they recommend, does anyone concur? Are there now or going to be soon SCSI 2 drives? I will be using the station from home and would like a decent modem. Originally, I was willing to settle for 2400 baud. Is this enough? I can trade MB on the hard drive for baud on the modem in terms of money. (We have a definite budget crunch. :-( ) Is 9600 baud a 'requirement'? Questions like these have been asked before but I have seen no replies posted. It would be a very big service to those of us who are rookies at this. Thanks in advance. charles d. kincaid statman@stat.ufl.edu --- The trick to flying is to throw yourself at the ground... and miss. --- -- Douglas Adams
