I'm trying to find out more about Speech Synthesis and Speech Recognition.

I'd like to do some on my NeXT, but I can't find any good books which actually
explain how things are done in a specific way.

Anybody have references to articles, books, any ideas of your own?

(Plus info on getting input from the mic is nice too)
