I would prefer to be able to just extract the entire backup, but only my root file-system is large enough to hold the backup. I tried extracting the individual files but was left with a large volume of files identified only by their I-Node number (according to the Xenix reference manual). Is there a way around the problem with fully restoring to a working file-system? Or is there an "easy" way to recover the file names from the numbered files left by restore? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
