Message-ID: <1990Dec6.231419.14554@swbatl.sbc.com> Date: 6 Dec 90 23:14:19 GMT Organization: Southwestern Bell Lines: 19 I've been following the DWB 3.1 argument with some interest. I've been curious about what 3.1 offers over 2.0. I've sent mail to some AT&T participants here, but they are obviously too busy to respond. So... What's 3.1 got over 2.0, featurewise? I'm not real concerned about the price issue, though I am curious about Pyramid binary pricing/availability. Also, Is this a forum for 3.2 or 4.0 features? It seems clear that 3.1 is overpriced, but I can think of a lot of stuff that would have made the price more palatable (e.g. heavy duty X nifties, industrial translators, supported previewers). Is anyone at AT&T listening? -- uunet!swbatl!adams or adams@swbatl.sbc.com Tom Adams: 314-235-7459: Southwestern Bell Telephone Advanced Technology Lab BOOKS WANTED: pre-1930 radio, electrical & scientific topics Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
