I'm looking for a C version of the routine doprnt from libc stdio.
We have a variety of Unix source licenses but each version has doprnt
coded in assembly language.  I seem to remember that doprnt was coded
in C in pre-4.3 BSD.  Does anyone know if this is true?  

I've tried hacking the System V version but it has too may IEEEism in
it.  Thanks for any help...
