 hello!!
  I am looking for the manner to insert any control character in vi 
  . I think you can escape meaning of it in the text entry mode. This
  is how the solution should be.
  But, i cant think of how it is done. Any ideas?
  It is a  point to be seen between the lines of any manual if at all
  it says about it.
