Distribution: na Date: 5 Dec 90 08:55:16 I am trying to install SCO Xenix 2.3.2 onto a PS2/65SX SCSI (they're all SCSI now) system and I get following error: dparm:could not open /dev/hd00: No such device or address ... cannot open /dev/rdsk/0s0 The folks from SCO tell me I need to use the Adaptec AHA-1640 host adapter not the one from IBM. The folks at IBM said: "SCO - what's that", "Adaptec - what's that", "Host adapter - are you trying to connect to a network?". Needles to say I found out qiuckly that IBM support reps only know IBM. I think my problem is that SCO Xenix SCSI drivers only support the Adaptec AHA-1640 host adapter. I would like to hear from anyone how has gotten SCO Xenix 2.3.2 installed on a PS2 SCSI.
