Message-ID: <18093@hydra.gatech.EDU> Date: 4 Dec 90 20:20:23 GMT Sender: ce1zzes@prism.gatech.EDU Organization: Georgia Institute of Technology Lines: 13 Finally got my Apple Imagewriter II working with Windows. It prints great outside Windows, but inside, it is incredibly slow! I get about a line every 30-45 seconds (printing text). Why is it printing so god-awful slow?! Particulars: AT 8MHz compatible, EGA, HIMEM and packet driver installed. Clock and Screenpeace are loaded, but printing speed is not affected when these are removed. I get more satisfactory results by printing to a file, then using a binary copy to the LPT: device outside of windows. I wish I wouldn't have to do this, but I must if I want anything printed from a Windows app. Eric
