Message-ID: <20183@rouge.usl.edu> Date: 6 Dec 90 23:50:18 GMT Sender: anon@rouge.usl.edu Organization: The Center for Advanced Computer Studies, USL Lines: 9 I am curious as to the recurring statement...'the new brand x windows 3.0 driver is slow in 256 mode...'. Slow in window redraw? Slower than the 16 color version. Is this a design flaw/weakness of win3.0? Surely ms cannot suppose that the market is satisfied with 16 colors! Are there any card/monitor/256+ color combinations that are not slow? Just wondering; I am getting ready to invest in a 256 cabable setup.
