Keywords: mouse moving logi com irq Message-ID: <1505@netmbx.UUCP> Date: 6 Dec 90 19:27:05 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: netmbx, Berlin, West Germany Lines: 30 Hi there! These days I got my copy of WINCOMM and was very disappointed, when trying it. Though I know, that it's not a Wincomm Problem, I never realized it, while I was using Telix in a DOS Box. The Problem is, that Wincom only receives characters from my modem, when I rapidly move the mouse. From what I understand, is, that the comm driver of windows doesn't enable the IRQ line of the uart. So, if I move the mouse the driver also recognizes the characters of the other com ports. This is not true if I use the com ports 1 and 2, but the problem is connected to com port 3. Don't tell me about the entries I have to make in the system.ini. I entered the right keywords. My port adress is 3e8h on IRQ 5. Hope, someone can help (maybe someone wrote a new comm driver). Ah, I have another question. Are there any drivers for multi port cards using one interrupt for several serial ports for windows? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wenn alles egal ist, Budweiser ! <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ---------------------------------------------------------------------- * \/|\/ _ * * * \/\|/\/ / \ * e-mail docbrain@netmbx.in-berlin.de * * \|/ | @ | * docbrain%netmbx@db0tui6.bitnet * * | | A| * docbrain%netmbx@tub.uucp * ----------------------------------------------------------------------
